: Bathrooms could do with modernising.

: It was a really beautiful house in a beautiful location, perfect for most excursions in the local area, the private access to the lake was amazing & the horses on the fields on the way down were lovely to see, beautiful views & great privacy
: The stairs are the only issue we had, there were a few near falls in our party & one fall from top to bottom resulting in a fractured wrist, v slippy, maybe small sections of carpet on each step would help but definitely didnt dampen our stay

: Lovely house and even nicer location! Went swimming in the Lough, our daughter loved the horses and we were even present for birth of a foal. Not issues with facilities and made full use of the BBQ.
: Not an issue for us as we were outside alot but limited tv channels.

Disappointing

: View at the back of the house.
: The games room is an attachment to the house. It is cold ,wet and very damp. The games equipment is old and dilapidated. The house is dark and short of light bulbs. It could really do with a spruce up.

: Great room within the house and a spacious patio area for socialising. Beautiful gardens around the house.

: The house has a beautiful location, bit remote though - it's about 5 min drive to the nearest shop. The house does have an exit to the Lough Key lake - and there is a small boat pier. We did not take the boat, but the reviews seemed to say it was possible. The views from the dining room and sitting room over the lake are amazing. It's about 15 min drive to Lough Key Park center. The house is comfortable - there are only 9 permanent beds + 1 folding (or there is a couch in the sitting room). The house is very spacious and is build like a mansion. Like the games for the kids. There was also a playroom in an external building (but this needs fixing by the owners, ceiling was leaking - we could not use it). Overall we had a great time

: The location of the property was perfect for us, close to our fishing boat, close to Lough Key for swimming and a great lane and fields for dog walking. Rose, our host was charming and easy to contact. There are lots of outdoor activities nearby and the towns of Boyle and Carrick on Shannon are a short drive away.
: My bedroom (upstairs) had no ensuite so for a shower I had to use the ensuite in one of the other rooms. This was later corrected. Some sharp knives in the kitchen would have been a bonus.
