  : Nice room, great location good staff.
  : The only issue was eating in the restaurant - the food was lovely but the plates were cold. Fish and chips another night with stone cold peas. Oh and I ordered a lemon cheesecake only to be served a berry cheesecake with no explanation.

  : Very informative reception and highlighted the issues with the fire alarm. It was clear and concise just not what I was expecting with the size of the room for the price charged. Understand that this is a holiday period.
  : Room was very small as was the ensuite as a fairly tall person not suitable for myself. The room was directly above the front entrance to the hotel and bar and very noisy with smokers standing outside the main entrance. The later the night went on the noisier the smokers became. Breakfast was bigger disappointment I have stayed in various hotels around the world its the first hotel that classes porridge as a hot meal and you are not able to select anything else from the hot food menu. The portion is too big but should not be classed in the hot food category. I asked for a bacon roll and was told one hot choice only. You could have other cereals if you wanted rice krispies or Granola but wanted porridge and was not allowed anything else poor in my opinion.

  : Smoked salmon Chouder - absolutely delicious. As was the kipper and poached egg breakfast.
  : It was difficult to fill the room kettle in sink. Equally, the shelf above the sink made washing ones face difficult for shaving.

  : Breakfast and dinner were great.View from restaurant lovely.Stayed in house 5 mins walk from hotel. Very easy walk.Local ales very good and obviously good whisky selection.
  : Music volume in restaurant could be a bit loud especially at breakfast time, but nothing really!
