  : Before arriving the host tried to facilitate us getting our key - it wasnt made clear that the key collection was - when carrying luggage quite a distance from the property
  : The room we were given was nothing like the pictures on booking.com - the building was having work done to it - the room itself was very tired - stains on the carpet - areas where paint missing - it just felt dirty

  : Great little apartment, everything we needed. Lovely views down the valley with some great sunsets. Nicely located for ski slopes and shops/restaurants (5 mins walk)
  : Check in! It was a nightmare. We didnt know which building we were in so the taxi driver left the eight of us in a blizzard with all our kit to hunt for the Maeva agency and the key box. When we opened the key box the two envelopes showed that our two apartments, reserved together, were in completely different buildings ten minutes from each other. The envelopes did not state which was the bigger or smaller apartment so we could not split into relevant groups to hunt for the apartment. For the second building we had no idea that a key fob was required to open an unmarked side gate. We tried keys on all doors but none worked. It was only by chance at 2am (ie after two hours walking round with ski bags and luggage in a blizzard) that we found a random man stuck outside the apartment building without his friends who asked if we had a key fob. Turned out we did (a small, black, unlabelled thing) and he showed us where you scan it (unlabelled too) and FINALLY we were able to get in. So that was a very bad start and totally unnecessary as Maeva could have emailed us full instructions the day before and the taxi driver could have dropped us off at our respective buildings.
