  : The actual accommodation itself was good, the only reason for my lower marking is we didn't actually meet any staff as it was just a self check in/out.
  : The bar/restaurant that is part of the accommodation was closed, so no food or bar on site meaning we had to travel out. Not a huge issue at all, but would have been nice as it shows it being open on the listing so a shame really.

  : The room itself was good. Microwave, fridge, kettle etc. Good location. Bar staff were lovely. Roast dinner on the Sunday was of a good standard.
  : The room was above the bar and the noise was insane until midnight I asked to be moved but was told I couldn't be. I was staying for the marathon so this was really not good. Price was high for what it was. No food available apart from Sunday lunch.

  : Water would not drain from shower, so water overflowed onto Bathroom floor. And on Morning of checking out there was no running water.Laminate flooring was lifting in Bedroom

  : I paid 96.25 for one night at this hotel, as I was meant to be running the marathon the next day. On entering my room around 18:00 hours I was disappointed to find it was freezing as the heater had been turned off. I had to turn the heater on and then go for a walk around the local area for an hour while the room heated up as there was no way I could have stayed in there as the temperature was reading 13 degrees. Not ideal at all with me running a marathon in the morning when all I wanted to do was rest my legs.The room was pretty basic, small with a single bed and tv on the wall. The walls were very thin and I could easily hear the couple in the other room talking all evening which wasnt ideal.Shared bathroom was clean.All in all, for the money paid I felt pretty short changed and would welcome some form of refund for the fact that the room was absolutely freezing on arrival and took hours to warm up.

  : Reasonable soundproofing in rooms so not too noisy, close to the centre of the town, microwave in room. Very comfy bed. Mostly clean. Nice beer garden to rear. Large modern TV.
  : Our room smelt of cigarette smoke. Should have reported it earlier but we knew all the rooms were booked and didn't want to just have loads of artificial air freshener being put in. Tried to get rid of it with opening the window and door but didn't really help, especially when more came in from smokers outside. Looked like it might be a problem with current guests as there was a cigarette butt on the stairs leading to the floor above ours. Quite a bit of hair on the floor of the shared bathroom and a bottle cap had been left in the bottle opener in the room.

  : Music in the bar was rather loud, meaning everyone had to shout to have a conversation.
