  : loved the location, warm and plenty of hot water
  : Carbon monoxide alarm had to be removed (expired April 2021). Luckily we didnt have an open fire. Caretaker came to remove it as it was constantly beeping and we said we were not intending to light the fire. Better thicker blind needed in single room as vvv light in there at 5am and woke my daughter.

  : The cottage location is great for exploring Boscastle. The garden terrace was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea and watching the sun go down. The whole feeling is of a snug, cosy cottage - the well appointed kitchen and open plan living space helps towards this. The welcome gifts (bottle of nice wine and some Cornish biscuits) were a nice touch.
  : The car access to the front of the property can easily become blocked if there is a car in the space at the opening to the cobbled street - this meant parking half on the road to load our suitcases. Not really a problem but some may struggle. The sofa and lounge chair cushions were very soft and could do with replacing. There are several walls where paint is peeling off - could do with a general freshen up. The light over the basin in the bathroom only has one bulb working. Again, not really an issue but easy enough to fix.

  : Two bedroom doors don't close. Rubbish arrangements need clarity. Seemingly there is an issue. Left a message on housekeepers phone requesting advice but no answer. Plenty of rubbish left my previous occupants.

  : the property was beautiful and well maintained. perfect break from the city.
  : not so much the property itself but it was off season so it was pretty expensive considering the stay was in the off season - nothing was open. we stayed in March. most shops were closed, museum closed. only things to do were walks if weather allowed or the local pub. not on the property owners but also maybe worth a price rethink to fill on the off period
