B&B Hotel La Piana - Borgo a Buggiano

Surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees B&B Hotel La Piana is a historic 13th-century building. Just outside Buggiano Castello it offers an outdoor pool and hot tub and produces extra-virgin olive oil. The swimming pool is open from March until November and offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills. In the garden you will also find sun loungers a football pitch bowling green and playground. Indoors the property features antique furniture stone walls and ceilings with wood and terracotta panels.

Every room and suite is different but all offer views of the valley. You will have air conditioning free Wi-Fi a kettle and minibar. Breakfast at La Piana Hotel is buffet style with local products freshly baked cakes and jams. It is served in the terrace in fine weather. Olive oil is available to taste and purchase on site.

Free parking is provided. Staff will provide maps of the local area and can arrange tickets to local museums theme parks and the hot springs at Montecatini Terme 5 km away.

: We got a bit confused by the breakfast ordering. We thought we could share some dishes but that was not the case. Make sure to order the correct number of persons that will eat the dish.

: Superb room, nice breakfast great local resturant 600m down the road
: A bit isolated and lack of restuarant means you have to drive for dinner along narrow roads in the dark unless you go to the local which is very good.

: Our host picked us up from the train station and dropped us back there at the end of our stay. Breakfast was great and the property is just gorgeous. Very helpful. 2
: The only thing is there was no restaurant onsite available for lunch and dinner the nights we were there. My advice is to only go here if you have a car. We're traveling by train this trip. So we were a little bit stranded. Not their fault. It was ours for not realizing it. It is in the country after all.

: Beautiful building and grounds, lovely owner, big room, beautiful setting. A bit overpriced relative to some of our other stays, but the setting and facilities were so beautiful we didn't mind.
: The breakfast was great, but it wasn't really clear that it was an additional charge (though I could have asked.) Usually a b&b implies breakfast is included.
