Holiday Inn Boise Airport an IHG Hotel

Disappointing

  : We have stayed here several times over the years. It is close to the airport, and has a decent bar and light food fair to enjoy in the evenings.
  : This hotel has become run down, looking like crap throughout the building. It is beyond time and need for remodeling. Not what it was.

  : The employee that worked the bar/cafe area on Saturday morning was the friendliest employee that we encountered during our stay.
  : The cleanliness, including the odor of the hotel and the room were awful. There were crumbs on the pullout sofa bed, so much so that I had to lift the mattress and shake them off. When I asked for linens and additional pillows for the bed, it seemed to inconvenience the front desk. It took about 30 minutes for her to bring linens to the room and then she told me that Id need to ask for a blanket/comforter upon our return to the hotel later that evening. When I returned, the employee seemed to want me to carry it to the room (though I was carrying a bag and a car seat with a child in it already). Additionally, the telephone in our room was nearly impossible to hear the person on the other end, regardless of volume. It was more efficient to go down ti the front desk to have our needs met, which is far less convenient. The breakfast was subpar. Even fast food is better than what was served at this hotel. Aside from the waffles and bagels, much of the food could have been plastic food. Tasteless and tough to chew.

  : Location worked great for us , kids loved the pool and it was nice that it was indoor. Having Applebee's right next door was great too. We also had a living room which was also super nice since we were traveling with kids.
  : Our room had a couple of holes in the wall and the carpet was lifted and bent so we kept tripping over it.

  : It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable
  : The air conditioning would not turn off in our room so they switched us to another room only for us to find out the refrigerator in that room didn't keep things cool. Apparently alot of maintenance issues with this hotel.
