  : We stayed here many years ago. We always loved the history and nostalgia of the property. The location is good for what we were looking for. The price was good.
  : The property needs some updating! Its one thing to be a historic property, but you have to bring the property to the 21st century. There are many aspects that could be updated and still keep the charm of an older hotel. The rooms are very old and tired. The shower was barely usable because the shower head is so low, and we are only 59 and 510. The rooms need updating and the entire property needs a fresh coat of paint and new furnishings. We would be willing to pay more to stay here and have a more updated facility. That being said, the staff was very nice and tried their best to accommodate us.

  : The history behind the inn made this an interesting stay. Everything was clean and well kept considering the age. It was dog friendly that meant a lot to us who travel with their dog family. Staff was friendly and did their job efficiently. Charlie Ellis at the piano was a delightful treat. We would easily be a great stop for any of our friends.
