  : When I made my reservation, I had noted that we would be arriving late in the evening, and we did arrive within the time window I told them to expect us. We were extremely exhausted from a long day of traveling. Checking in took about 15 minutes, with me standing outside the building, through a glass window with a tiny slot to, slide paperwork through, making hearing and understanding what she said very difficult. The desk clerk approached me with an unfriendly attitude. She didn't seem to be expecting us and couldn't find my reservation for a long time. The rooms were on separate floors, even though I had requested they be close together in my reservation. They were extremely cramped and unbearably hot when we finally got into them. One room stank highly of "air freshener" and something else, making it smell like a poorly operated nursing home. The windows were sealed shut, so even though the outside air was quite cool and breezy, we were forced to use the use the noisy air conditioner to air out the room. The only light in the bathroom was burned out. I was not able to find anyone to fix it. If we had not been so tired, after seeing the rooms, we would have looked for other accommodations.

  : I've stayed here three summers, now. It's exactly what it appears. It's a little run-down, a little tired here and there, but the rooms are clean and the folks who run the place are nice and it's cheap. Find me a clean hotel room for $60 anymore!
