  : The breakfast was fine, served by friendly and attentive staff.
  : Our room was cramped, which would have been less of a problem had the residents' lounge/bar been more comfortable - and available throughout our stay. On our second evening we returned to the hotel at 7 pm with everything in darkness and locked up. No external or internal lights were on. We had a key to get in, but had difficulty finding the light switch once we'd finally gained entry. There was no sign of any staff on the premises. The residents' lounge/bar was closed up and so we had nowhere to spend the evening in comfort. The sign advertising the hotel at the entrance to the driveway shows a welcoming fire. Really? We certainly didn't receive a warm welcome! We were very disappointed, and would not stay at Blakeney House again.

  : Breakfast was good but service not so . Central location. Room was pleasant and clean.
  : Poor service. During breakfast, not shown to table, told to look for table with room number on it. Not asked for what sauces we like to accompany cooked meal. Need to let people know GPS leads to the old entrance(locked) and not the main entrance from the main Street. Nobody at main reception on the day of arrival and no answer to bell. Not offered Complimentary Drinks as described. Had to asked for it the next day. Seaview Room not worth the money. Can only see a sliver of sea miles away between tree branches. If leaves grow, won't be able to see the sea. Sky light in room dirty with moss and bird poo, not very nice view. Was surprised that we were asked if we wanted our room serviced. Should it not be done daily? Room was not serviced that evening...2 plastic bags were left at our front door, filled with towels, toilet paper, tea bags , water ,.milk etc. We asked why the room was not serviced and they told us that they did not have keys to the room as the previous customer accidentally took the keys away. When they "serviced" the room, it was not done properly. One pillow was still on the chair..and bathroom was not cleaned properly. Driveway into car park is pitch dark with no lighting. Precarious walking as there are potholes.

  : Excellent food at dinner and breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful with our baby, nothing was too much trouble.
  : We were a little cold at night as the heating was off, but it was an unseasonably cold night so understandable.
