  : Lovely location.
  : It was satisfactory. It was not an apartment.The door to the room literally opened up into the kitchen unit and fridge. The room was absolutely freezing on arrival. I had to wrap a blanket around me and sit on the floor next to the plug in radiator which barely gave out any heat. Because the room was so cold the bed sheets and duvet felt incredibly damp as did the towels.After a 7 mile hike we were ready for a shower but the bathroom was even colder as the towel rail radiator had not been switched on for our arrival at 3pm so had to wait for 3 hours before having a hot shower in the tiny cubicle.Our sleep was uncomfortable due to being able to feel the wooden slats of the bed and the springs through the mattress - so no chance of a romantic evening away at this place - you could also hear everything going on in the room below (talking, doors shutting etc) - no privacy here.But to top it off, the towel rail was not put back on (despite us having a switch in the room to put it on - was it overridden?) so the bathroom was icy cold again the following morning - not happy about this at all.The staff were pleasant enough but ignored my message about whether any take-aways would travel to our remote location. So our evening meal didnt happen! Nothing was offered to us in terms of discount about the freezing conditions.In summary, the room was adequate for a bed for the night but nothing more than that Im afraid.

  : Relatively affordable and room was clean, good size sleeping area. Nice touch to leave us a bag of chocolates on arrival.
  : - You can hear everything going on next door, including the kettle switch, window shades being opened, shower, people walking around, talking etc. Room needs more sound deadening.- The pillows provided are not comfortable at all, neither is the mattress which sinks in the centre slightly.- A more generous amount of coffee, sugar, milk and toilet paper left would have been great. We ran out on day 2. Some actual milk would have been nice and not those packets.- The shower is far too small and not practical (smallest shower Ive ever seen)- The coffee mugs were dirty with stains- The sugar left over was hard and should have been replaced - There was zero mention that the driveway to the accommodation is almost 4WD worthy, please maybe mention this, if I had a car sitting any lower, I would not have made it up that dirty road full of holes and raised centre.

  : Apart from comments in next box the location, quality of facilities, room etc was excellent.
  : Didnt like the smell of drains in the bathroom. My husband had to cover his nose and mouth when he slept as he found the smell so distasteful.

  : Great location, quiet, with walking options right from the door. (I walked to Hen Cloud, The Roaches, and Lud's Church without having to drive anywhere, and to Chrome Hill after a short drive to Longnor). There's a nice area with picknick tables to sit outside. Hosts were very friendly and brought me a cafetierre after I noticed it wasn't in the room.
  : The room is quite small. It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair to relax in, but there's no space really. So you can only sit on the bed. There's a fold up chair and table to eat on which works ok, but ideally you'd be able to just have a chair and table that you don't have to put away when finished eating. I've stayed in larger properties for similar amounts, so in that sense I think value for money could be better. Would have been nice to have shampoo in the shower. Also, there's no heating in the bathroom so it's hard to get anything dry if you (like me) get soaked on one of your walks.
