  : The lodge was warm and cosy. Great soundproofing in the lodge. The staff were exceptionally helpful especially as we arrived late and left very early!, Nothing was too much trouble and always ready to help with local information.!. The on-site cafe is a bonus for morning coffee. Lovely area for walks and a short drive to many heritage sites- would recommend Leeds castle! We had a wonderful family weekend here!
  : Was in a beautiful rural setting which meant that we had to use a car to access restaurants and pubs. Not a problem as only 5 mins away!

  : The lodge itself was great, very spacious and plenty of beds, storage space and seating. The surrounding area was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Located in a very peaceful area, shops and cafes within 5 minutes drive. I would definitely come back here to stay again.
  : There was no hand soap in either of the toilets so we had to buy our own, I left ours behind for the next customers! not much cooking equipment (pots and pans are provided, just not the best quality) One of the showers seemed to stay very hot and not able to make it any colder so it was difficult to use that one. Ran out of sugar within one night as this was not replenished before our arrival.

  : We loved that it was out in the countryside enough to feel well rested and peaceful, but within an hour or less could get to places such as Dover Castle. For keen anglers this is a brilliant place to stay too. The land in general is really ideal for a family looking to get the family away from the hustle and bustle as they have acres of woodland for the family to explore too.The cafe on site cooks brilliant breakfast too.The lodge has everything you need, is clean and a Real home from home.We would come back and recommend
  : Double bed in Lodge 2 was firm, for some people this is fine, for me it was just too firm, other beds in the lodge were more suited for my back.. And the temperature of the water for the shower wasn't hot enough, but for the children it was a perfect temp so it's not the end of the world.

  : Family get together so open plan was excellent. Showers worked well and beds comfortable.
  : Only 2 out of 6 bulbs worked in the lounge. However staff quickly resolved and provided new bulbs. Lots of marks on paint work, walls etc could do with refresh.

  : the parking area: no light and very uneven floor. was a bit dangerous to walk in complete darkness. no light in bathroom.

  : It was so peaceful there. I imagine it's very beautiful in spring and summer.
  : There was 6 of us and there wasn't enough crockery or cutlery. Everything else was fine.
