Disappointing
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : Good amount of bathrooms for the number of guests staying. Liveable room but I've paid this much and gotten much better rooms and service. All in all, it did its job.The location, however, was great. Very close to the tram and only a few stops away from all the exciting areas. Lots of restaurants to choose from around the hotel area with a rather nice park and fountain only minutes away on foot.
  : No option for "do not disturb", cleaning meant only taking the garbage bin out (and maybe some hoovering, but I am not sure). No fresh towels. Staff availability in the hotel was very limited. My advice is to invest in more people to be available all day/night round. The room was not as nice as the picture. One bed was quite old and creaky which made us suspect we are causing a disturbance to others while sleeping but we had no option. The walls in the hotel are thin and it was possible to hear others. One guest staying in a room adjacent to ours had to knock to tell us the laptop sound was too high and that she could hear it from her room (even though it was a a very normal volume, we could hardly hear it properly after having to turn it down). This makes me suspect insulation is not great. No area for food preparation, not even a vending machine or coffee or small bistro.

  : The place is a hostel not a hotel
  : I did not like how all the guests had to share one shower. Someone vomited in the shower and it stunk of vomit. There were pieces of food in the shower. It was disgusting. The shower was on a different floor than my room. My room was near the main door, I heard people chatting, smoking, walking passing opening and shutting the main door. It's an old place and there was no soundproofing.

  : The room was clean, spacious and well lit. Beds were firm but very comfortable. The toilets were kept clean and seemed to be cleaned twice a day. We had no issues staying here, great value for money and a good base for exploring Berlin. If you're looking to save a few pennies it's definitely a good, clean, safe option.

  : - the ladies on reception were lovely. We had an issue with a mattress and they had it replaced immediately. They were smily and friendly- the accomodation was clean and tidy- good location
  : - paper thin walls and floors, and doors that shut loudly. We had a few people on our floor that were not considerate of this and made sleep a but difficult.

  : They do not tidy the room and change the sheets at all every stay at the hotel

  : The location allows to walk to the Alexander Platz for 20min, several transport connections are close. The hotel is quite and clean. When we asked to switch on the heating they did it and also provided extra covers when we asked. Minimal clean comfort lets say.
  : Very uncomfortable pillows which didn't allow me to sleep normally even a single night. The matras is also strange but not so disastrous as pilows.

  : It was minutes from the tram station.I arrived past noon and the room was already ready for check in. Toilets and bathrooms are shared and clean. One hair dryer in the shower but I didn't have to wait long to use it cause I bathed at night. The receptionist kindly boiled and filled hot water into my tumbler.
  : The mattress was rather thin, I could feel the wood slabs, but it I still managed to sleep after a long day of sightseeing. Would be great to have a water filer somewhere so that guests can fill water. The shower is not divided by gender on my floor. There are two showers in the bathroom.
