  : Villa Parnassia is a beautiful premise on the south edge of Bergen aan Zee, directly bordering the nature reserve towards Egmond. My apartment was small but efficient and very nice, overlooking the dunes, with a balcony, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with great view as well. I stayed here to work on my next book and enjoyed it very much, combining writing with (dune-forest-hay-beach) running, mountain-biking (best trail in NL in the Schoorl Dunes), hiking (one of the best beaches and hiking trails) and an occasional meal in one of the beach restaurants. The town of Bergen, with a supermarket and shops, is at cycling distance, along the main access road or through the beautiful Schoorl dunes.
  : While I was staying, during two nights, the heating didn't function well, leaving my room a bit too cold, especially when sitting still for a long time, writing. Outside it wasn't freezing (only a fierce wind), so this should be solved, I think.

  : We got the room with the nicest view, the beach is really close, also the dunes and the forest. The room is very comfortable and clean.
  : Dish soap was not provided, and it was not clear we had to bring it.

  : Clean, great location in the dunes, very quiet and close to the beach. Friendly staff.
  : Check in was at a different location and I was not informed of this in advance. Breakfast was also at a different location, not exactly convenient. Shower didn't drain properly but was fixed on the second day. The mattress was too soft for me, but that's an individual preference.

  : Very nice appartement with everything you need. Friendly personelle and very good location near the beach and the dunes. We will come back. Fantastic terasse.
  : Nothing major, in winter a thicker blanket might be necessary and the pillow was not very comfy.

  : Often rooms have dim lighting but the lighting here was great with many options. Also the heating worked. Long mirror available. Good working shower. It was a quiet peaceful room with nice views. The cooking facilities worked and had everything needed. Sufficient power points. Very comfortable bed. Upright chairs as well as comfortable seating. Spacious. Parking space on the property.
  : Stairs up to the front door and up to the room so avoid heavy bags. I normally communicate by messages but I got weird messages from some hotel and it turned out that every time I messaged the property it was actually ringing their phone to the extent that the host blocked my number. We made contact eventually. The host needs to sort this. Comms could be improved. Also one sliding door to the wardrobe did not slide so the shelves on that side werent available but I did not need them.
