  : Clean room, beds comfy, staff very friendly.The quality of breakfast was excellent.
  : The noise of people walking up and down in their room, just next-door to us, was annoying. The floor boards creak, so heard every step they took and walls very thin so could hear talking very clear. We were also near the stairs and these were very noisy, like somebody was running up and down them with heavy boots on! Both our rooms were a little warm. Make sure you get down early enough for breakfast, as things were running out just after 9am and orange juice was not replenished after it ran out.

  : The location was handy, near the south coast and close to Bovington tank museum and Monkey World. The access into the lodge was good and there was sufficient parking. The room size was decent enough.
  : The rooms are extremely poorly sound insulated - the worst I've ever seen. It was possible to listen into every word of the people in the room next door and figure out what TV programme they were watching. The MIRA shower units are so loud we certainly woke up most people in the adjacent rooms. They are as loud as industrial generators and I'm struggling to exaggerate this, we genuinely felt guilty for using it they were that loud. The rooms also didn't have a safe or fridge.Furthermore we were woken up every morning by someone's golf cart/buggy which was driven right alongside (within metres of) the lodge for some inexplicable reason at 7am every day... despite the driving range being seperate alongside and the main golf course and restaurant being across the road.The staff often had a vacant look on their faces as if they'd never been asked to assist a customer before and had little attention or interest in assisting people. The entire facility gave the impression of being poorly managed.We were poisoned by the breakfast in the restaurant one morning, which we are unsure was caused by poor cleanliness or just poor cooking. For some reason the staff put the names of the people staying in the rooms on reserved breakfast tables, which we could never find and then immediately changed table each morning. What was the point of that? we've paid to sit wherever we like in your restaurant.The breakfast serving time of 7 till 9.30 seems... bizarre. Do people really get up at 6 in the morning to enjoy a day of golf here? Then, if you want to eat dinner there you have to reserve the table and order your meal (in advance) by no later than 3pm on the day otherwise they won't accommodate you. Bizarre.We had to then insist on a cleaner to actually come to our room on the third day to clean because apparently they had to leave in a hurry and they missed our room the previous day despite us notifying them in the corridor.
