Wonderful

  : Clean and nice staff. The hotel is historic and nicely renovated. Nice wrap around porch with plenty of seating. Will definitely stay at again when traveling to the area.
  : The bed was clean but not comfortable, and the bathroom could use better lighting.

  : I liked the old fashioned building and location for our needs.
  : First, our room was hot as heck when we arrived. The caretaker told us that the rooms temperature can only be controlled as a group of 4 rooms, that the thermostat was located in the hall way. I noticed that the thermostat for our room group was turned off, and the temperature was 74 degrees. He stated that he would turn the AC on, but that never happened. The outside temperature did dip to around 45 degrees overnight, but the thermostat in the morning still read 74 degrees, which made for an extremely uncomfortable nights sleep. The room was on the dirty side, with dust streams on the ceiling and walls.

  : Loved the antiques and the authentic Victorian ambiance. It was clean and the owners were accommodating. It is a great value for such an affordable rate
  : A pool or sitting room or some other sort of public relaxation area would be a nice add-on

  : The staff members are friendly and helpful,and the rooms and common areas are exceptionally clean.
  : The breakfast room was clean and had a good variety of selections. However, a suggestion for better sanitation standards would be to have individual packets for jelly, peanut butter and margarine rather than having guests dip into each container. Also, perhaps a tray or basket with tongs for bread/pastry items is a better idea than everyone reaching into the bags as you do at home.

  : There was a good variety of items at the continental breakfast, available for a good portion of the morning.
  : I would have liked a bath mat and a reading light by the chair which was a comfortable place to read.
