: Spacious, quiet, sunny gite in a beautiful old building which also contains four chambres d'hote and the owners' apartment. Delightful shared garden where we could relax, sip wine, eat, and occasionally chat with other guests. Charming and welcoming hosts; excellent kitchen; parking. Very quiet location with a semi-rural feel; we could walk through the woods to the banks of the nearby River Vienne. Well located for visiting many Loire Valley towns and villages, gardens and chateaux. Lovely countryside. Large Carrefour supermarket 3k away at Avoine. With goodwill and occasional use of Google Translate, communication with our hosts was fine.
: From our viewpoint the only downside was that the nearest baker was around 2k away, so we could not stroll out for baguette and croissants in the morning.

: Property is full of character. Friendly owners. Breakfast was super.
: It would be helpful if there was a signboard at point where one needs to turn off main road into hamlet where property is located. It is not the easiest place to find.

: The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and informative. The gite was extremely well-equipped and immaculate. The outside private terrace a real bonus.
: I had not realised before arrival that there is a 10 euro per night supplement for heating from April which we agreed to pay but had not seen advertised on Booking.com. The heating did not come on at night so it was a bit chilly although it worked well in the morning. The decor is delightful but if you break something you do have to pay full cost to replace it, so it's not necessarily a good place for boisterous children. Nice romantic getaway for a couple.
