Disappointing

  : Arthur at the front desk was extremely rude as soon as we walked in there was a line and it was a half hour early for check in.. Instead of politely explaining that they are short staffed he abruptly said " I am sure you are all here to check in and we had call offs and I am not sure rooms are ready. He then proceeded to walk away from behind the desk, leaving the customers waiting and said" I have to see if Rooms are even ready" I realized he was under stress and we were early but there is a more professional way to handle the situation. Also he should have never admitted that they were down housekeepers as that should not be relayed to customers.. There was a more professional manner that he could have displayed and politely stated that since we were early he is not sure rooms are ready yet instead of showing his frustration and admitting that they are down housekeepers.. It almost made me want to get my money back because who wants to stay in a hotel where you are not even sure rooms were cleaned properly.. We did stay but customer service was very disappointing. We did not have contact with our staff members, so I am not including all the staff, just one gentleman in particular
