  : Food was excellent quality. Good choice of bar snacks. Good selection for buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Quiet room. Very clean inside and out. Large outdoor seating area, with under cover seating too.
  : No coffee in the room. Used the WR code in room to contact reception and someone brought some to our room almost immediately. Problem resolved quickly.

  : Great location for visiting Sheffield and surrounding area. Lots of parking spaces. Room was modern, clean and spacious. Bathroom shower was excellent! Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast and restaurant menu was excellent with lots of choice. Swimming pool great, very much enjoyed by my young family, even though we had to be out by 10am.
  : Check in - took forever to allocate us to a room, not sure why this was not done upon booking/prior to arrival. We felt like they had overbooked. The stairs - as a young family we did not appreciate being put in a room that had a separate carpark and felt miles away from the actual hotel, the building we were sent to was called the event centre where weddings were held. We actually accidentally walked through a wedding party when we were trying to find our room as the door to the bedrooms has no signs on it and also from a security point of view is truly awful as the outer door did not shut properly. Fortunately there was no noise overnight from the weddings but the amount of flights of stairs we had to walk up and down, around corridors and up and down more stairs was too much. I appreciate the hotel is on a hill but the design of it inside is not good. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible or pushchair friendly at all, no lifts. I appreciate they must obviously cater toward adult spa breaks and wedding guests. I do not recommend this hotel for families or guests looking for somewhere accessible to stay. Lots of mess from the days / evenings before, plates, food, glasses etc. Even at breakfast there was food from the previous night still on the floor. I imagine this is a great hotel for spa breaks and weddings but unfortunately it wasn't right for us. I think when I enquired and they told me they didn't provide travel cots I should have realised families were not welcomed and not proceeded with the booking.
