: Breakfast was just toast and marmelade, no yoghourt, fruit, eggs, ... Airco would be handy when above 30

: The welcome and the care by the owners The excellent dinner we had which included an outstanding bisteca Fiorentina 1.1 kg so tender and tasteful. The place in the middle of nowhere but in the middle of nature too. Great views of the lago. convenient stop for us travelling from Naples to Geneva
: The wifi was not working neither did the POS due to a damage of the cables somewhere in the forest. So be prepared to pay in cash. But these people are so friendly they were even prepared to take less when I told them that I may not have the whole amount in cash.

: It's about a 10 to 15 minute drive from the highway in the hills outside of Barbarino di Mugello. At times, the road is only one lane and a little bit curvy. But, the reward at the end makes it all worth it! It is a quaint older building with amazing views all the way down to the local lake. The surroundings are very peaceful and rustic, with just the sounds of birds chirping and the bees buzzing! My son thoroughly enjoyed the pool, which was so refreshing after a long day sight-seeing. Also, we cannot praise the cooking enough! We requested a meal "local style" and enjoyed delicious home-made pasta and organic beef from the farm down the road. The host family always made sure that we felt comfortable and had everything we needed.
: We were there when the summer was starting to get hot. So, it might be difficult to sleep without air conditioning during the really hot summer months. But, maybe it still cools down at night...?
