: It was fantastic stay. Private apartment, solid level of privacy, equipped with everything needed - except cutting board in the kitchen, which we've bought and left there for future guests ;-) Really close to the beach, which we didn't really use (it's a posh-place, Barbati beach is generally a short one, full of sunbeads which are occupied (need to reserve ahead) by people just showing off, but if you are this type of person, why not, great place for you), but there is best value-for-money boat rental just on the entrance. Definitely recommend to rent a boat a try beaches with no car/land access up north on the east side of Corfu, we had a blast ;-) Apart from that, the apartment have all feats and features you need - working A/C, fridge+freezer, kitchen (stowe, burner), coffee machine with spare filters, kitchen tools, and anti-mosquito appliances. What was probably the best about this apartment:- north and south "wall" of the apartment consists of sliding 3 sliding (lockable) tiles. 1: mosquite net, 2. sunshade blind with slanted slats, 3. double glass. So you can setup your config as you wish, from fully open space, over anti-sun and-or anti-mosquite barriers but still with fresh breeze winding through the hole place, or you can close the glass level and turn on A/C just like on usuall all-brick-wall apartment.- there are 2 terraces, big in front and smaller in the back. The big one is really spacious, you can see the sea (about 100m away), and there's a really big, old olive tree making it a cozy "greeny" place with enough shade even during hours with the sun beams directed on this front terrace. The "backyard" terrace is generally a 3-direction high wall surrounded tiled spot (like 5x3 meters approx.) with also a table and chairs (can't imagine why anyone would sit there), but also a drying rack AND an outdoor shower (including hot water) and a drained. This was FANTASTIC!
: I've only gave 9 out of 10, because it's not 100% perfect, however that's just subjective based on the type of usage. So let's get to it:- Valve of the water hose on the front terrace wasn't 100% sealing, it was dropping a little, making part of the terrace wet all the time. Sure owner will fix it soon, or you can pu the end of the hose down the stairs and forget it ;-)- Mattresses and pillows are on the "harder" side. I loved it! My wife didn't. So depends whether you like soft or tough :-D- Traffic - as Barbati is a "posh" tourist place (with best seafood restaurant on the island, btw, definitely recommend to try it), so dining, bar party etc., there's a lot of traffic, as youthes on scooters come to show up, and riches with expensive cars take families to eat there, it's really busy. It's a narrow, steep street. Until like 11am, it's a quiet street. But between 2pm and 8pm, it's buzzing like hell. It doesn't influence the apartment, as it's in a side street, but still if you'd like to go out, you'll face this traffic once leaving the apartments zone.- Parking. You can ignore this one, if you don't plan to rent a car. But if you do - the main street down to the beach (where you'd park) is soooooo busy in afternoon and evening. And the parking for the apartment is reserved, however not always respected, so it may happen some jerk will park there and then you have nowhere to leave your car. AND - the parking lots are small, really small. Short as well. In steep hill. With Opel Corsa, it was already a little challenge to park/unload, when we had neighbours Smart 4-2 parked there. Couldn't imagine renting a big SUV and parking it there (unless it would be a autopilot self-parking car).
