: Cosy apartment within the house, but separate from the owner and family (who live upstairs.) The hostess, Ulla, was so helpful in getting us settled in and explaining what to do and where to go in Bamberg. Parked the car for free about 1km away. We kept our bicycle in the apartment, but it could also be kept in the main hall of the house. The apartment has a separate bedroom, a nice kitchen and dining area, with a small TV. Very close to the main attractions of Bamberg, like the old bridges. Walking distance to everything, including cathedral, town centre, restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay there again.
: No washing machine.

: Delightful little self-contained apartment in a location which is very convenient for exploring the town. Quirky and lovely decor, great facilities and exactly what we were hoping for.
: As it was a self-catering apartment with good facilities, there wasnt really anything not to like.

: Location was within easy walking distance to the Old City. Ulla was away but made sure that someone was there to greet us, even though we arrived a little early. She also left milk, beer and water in the hallway which could be purchased, with money to be paid on the honors system.
: The booking description was incorrect. There is NO FREE PARKING nearby. The description said that free parking was in a nearby location, but the closest was at least a kilometer away. And even so, parking is at your risk, according to Tourist Info. We received a $10 parking fee, had to move our car and ended up paying $18/day to park in the garage. I do not blame the owner for the parking situation because it is within the city. However, she should not make it appear that you can park close to the house. When we arrived, there wasn't even space to park and unload. Also, the apartment needs a second chair or couch.

: Right near the old town, convenient to restaurants and historical sites.
: Car parking is extremely inconvenient and expensive. Cash only for payment which is not highlighted during booking and only shows in inconspicuous way.
