: Loved the location, beautiful area, lovely village outside Bakewell. Facilities and furnishings were top quality. Everything very high spec. Underfloor heating was great and kitchen well stocked with enough pots and pans. Welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits gratefully received. 3 pubs in the village to eat in. The farmyard Inn 1 minute walk away did a lovely pie and triple cooked chips.
: We loved Hope cottage and I would move in tomorrow. We were a party of 6 adults meeting up in 3 cars so parking is the only tiny quibble. Only room for a small car on the drive and a bit of a tight turn. Room beside the cottage on the road to park the other cars. I assume one family wouldn't have the same problem anyway.

: Stayed for Xmas lovely location and great for the children really nicely set up and equipment for baby was really helpful. Owners were very friendly and available. Lovely warm and cosy cottage.

: Hope cottage is a beautiful cottage that is exceptionally clean and well equipped. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a lovely week and a very comfortable stay.
: There really is nothing to dislike about Hope Cottage. The only thing I missed was the outside space not being enclosed for the dog, but the cottage doesnt lend itself to that and it does have parking (which is a big bonus). The hosts have addressed this and the cottage has a hook and leads to secure the dog outside.
