  : The host was nice and helpful, apartment is cozy and has all necessities. Quiet area with a lot of greenery around.

  : The bed, the blanket was not good and the entrance was very dirty. The lady was insisted that I have to leave at 10 am in the morning.

  : no carpets, bigger towels, no soap, we bought one, bed sheet missing for the lounge, ( just in case if we needed to sleep there), bed comfortable. Coat hangers were wires, not nice, no hand towels in the kitchen. ,but most if all the host was absolutely frightened that we are not going to pay the stay, and wanted us with a newborn baby to go to her house and pay in cash for the stay, not happy about it at all, very expensive stay overall, not really worth the money as our friends booked for better and less in the same area. the owner fitted and obliged us to keep the heating at 21degrees and it was cold especially with a newborn baby. the apartment was very unfriendly. My husband wanted to throw the rubbish but we couldnt find the bins, so we left a box at the door entrance. After we left the key and informed the host she never bothered to reply to let us know all is ok.

  : The apartment (ground floor) is located in a quiet area (we barely saw/heard the neighbours). It has everything needed for a short stay and we've enjoyed our stay in Baia Mare. The parking spaces are free (not reseverd/paid) and usually the close ones are ocuppied by the neighbours but you can find free spots if you go around and enter the street behind the building. There is a Profi shop very close if you use the sideway between the buildings.
  : There was a strange smell in the kitchen sometimes - but it was more from outside of the flat, probably because the building is rather old and has a basement.

  : The apartment itself was nice and clean. The location was wonderful.
  : As soon as I left, I began receiving notifications that there was an issue. That issue was that apparently, I had stolen the mattress on the bed and replaced it with an inferior one. I have absolutely no clue why this is something that I would be accused of unless it is a scam because the owner repeatedly threw the words "sue" and "police" into the conversation every time a person was not acquiescing to her demands of paying immediately. I live in America. How would I even get the mattress to the United States with me, reasonably? Is one to assume that I have enough money to fly to Romania for 2 weeks, but I cannot afford a mattress? At any rate, it put a complete damper on what was an otherwise lovely apartment and otherwise pleasant exchanges with the owner. For what it is worth, I have receipts from Lufthansa that show I only paid the average one-bag baggage fee, nothing for excessive or oversized luggage. If you choose to stay here, keep receipts I guess.
