  : The apartment was quite large, nicely furnished, modern looking. Comfortable bed. Completely quiet. The helpful owner lives directly in the building. On our way back home, he drove us to the Gastein train station. Great location (that is, for Bckstein...), with the tunnel train station and the excellent Gasthof Zur Post nearby. I'd stay there again.
  : Just minor things really... there is no hairdryer. An electric heater in the bathroom would be great for drying clothes/towels (the Alps are cold and wet many days in a row even in summer). The apartment was a bit insufficiently and quite randomly supplied. There was salt and pepper and dishwashing fluid, but there was no soap or shower gel and just a single roll of toilet paper. I don't hold it against this particular accommodation, my experience is that in Austria this is standard (our previous accommodation had loads of toilet paper and a shower gel, but no salt and no dishwashing fluid. :) Keep this in mind and pack your whole household with you just in case, or be prepared to do some basic shopping right after your arrival. :-)

  : Very friendly host. Good location for skiing in Bad Gastein area and Sportgastein. Nice apartment, spacious and clean.
