  : No parking. No functioning WiFi. No tea-maker. Kitchen could use more pots and pans and bowls.

  : Rooms need updating. Too many decorative pillows (11), wall to wall carpet, headboard made of velvet as well as built in chair. Too much dust .

  : Dealing with the receptionist gave a very negative start to our stay. Instead of trying to be helpful, we were made to feel a bit silly. When asked if they knew how long the loud music was going to play right under our window, the answer was this is Bstad, when asked about the Spa access, it wasnt about let me figure out how to make it happen for you but you havent booked it Her attitude was negative, dismissive and arrogant. To put our stay into context (I fully appreciate every guest should be treated with respect whatever the class of room they have chosen to stay in) we had chosen to stay in one of their larger suites with our child and even staying in one of their premier rooms we were still treated in a negative dismissive way. To summarize the hotel is lovely, our room was lovely, however we were made to feel by the general attitude of most of the staff that they were better than us and thus we would not recommend staying in this particular hotel. In fact, this property was the biggest disappointment during our 2 week road trip throughout Sweden and Denmark where we stayed in a different hotel every night. If youre looking for a luxurious feel hotel with friendly and genuine staff in a knockout location, then we would highly recommend Ystad Saltsjbad.
