Hotel Schloss Büdingen

  : Schloss Bdingen is an ancient castle in the town of the same name. It's picturesque, easy to access, and has free parking on-site. There is excellent and free Wi-Fi coverage on the entire property. Rooms are spotless, with comfortable beds and television. Breakfast is included with your room, and it's typically German: Cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, soft-boiled eggs, bread and rolls, coffee and juice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurants and pubs in the Altstadt (Old Town) area of Bdingen are just a short walk from the castle.
  : Being a very old structure (almost 1000 years) Schloss Bdingen presents challenges for those used to modern amenities and accomodations. Floors are uneven, steps are steep, and there is no air conditioning (which is rarely needed anyway). There are no elevators, of course. These are not really deficiencies, simply characteristics one must accept in exchange for being able to stay in such a historic place.

  : Well, its an authentic 13th century castle converted into a hotel not in a big city tourist trap.

  : It was fun to be able to stay in a castle. The rooms are a little dated but fine. The location is absolutely perfect and there was a nice (typical German) breakfast.
  : The decor was a little dated in the room and the showerhead in the tub made it difficult to actually shower (it was turned a weird way and wouldn't stay in place to take a shower)

  : Nice Castle hotel, conveniently located. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and attractions. The hotel itself is one of the attractions of town. Breakfast is ok. Rooms are clean. We stayed in a spacious room with a nice bathroom. Second floor rooms, no elevator (it is an old building), so keep in mind there will be stairs if that is an issue.

  : Nice atmosphere, beautiful castle
  : No one to welcome us at check in, was told the hotel was closed (we arrived 18.20, last check in should be at 19.00). Had to contact caf staff to call convince them to let us in. No hot water at the room and no heat. Freezing.

  : Location was superb. Hotel wonderfully quiet, quaint, cosy. Breakfast full of variety and the coffee was really hot!! The staff members were very friendly and helpful.
