  : The apartment had great views across the harbour and firth. The lounge was spacious and it was good to have 2 bathrooms and a utility room. It was very handy for the local shops and takeaways.
  : Unfortunately, we found numerous dead or dying wasps in the apartment, mainly in the bedrooms. There was clearly a nest nearby somewhere and they were getting in somehow. We noticed that the flat was last cleaned a few weeks before after the visitors had left. Also the house booklet advised against putting the white meter heating on in the autumn, so we would put on the electric heater in the lounge. This was OK for the lounge but we found the bedrooms to be quite cold. The kitchen's cutlery, plates, pots and utensils had been stripped down to the minimum to save on cleaning after we left. We felt that we could have done with having a bigger supply, especially as we were eating in more due to coronavirus restrictions.

  : The location, not far from Inverness, in the small town of Avoch was very good with a view over the harbour (where we had great fun fishing for crabs and hired one of the boats to take us into the bay to Dolphin watch!) and the beach. The only slight downside was, over the road was parked an old camper van and the public convenience. It is worth mentioning that the PC was clean, newly painted and not often frequented. Plus, the upstairs accommodation which we rented looked well over the top of the PC so our view was not disturbed.

There are a lot of remote controls for the tech in the house and it took us a couple of days to fully work out how to watch telly.

  : Lovely view and central location of property. Very spacious rooms. Easy parking. Local shops and excellent cafe. Lots of tourist guides and information in property. Good kitchen equipment.

  : Well equipped, spacious but cosy. Lovely location and outlook to the harbour. Nice village with good amenities and takeaways if needed.

  : Location is superb, overlooking the harbour and the Moray Firth. Easy access to Inverness. 2min walk to chippy and takeaways. 5min drive to lovely pub gtub in Munlochy. No actual pub in Avoch, however.
  : Overall, excellent. Only niggles would be the heating, a bit fiddly to work out and the steps at the front, after a long day out! Oh, and lack of pub in village!Never saw owners or staff, but good comes, when required.
