  : I liked to be near the center in order to take the metro from Monastiraki. The bed and the towel were clean and overall almost everything was clean.
  : The shared toilets were okay, but you could clean these more often.

  : The hostel provides a cheap place to sleep in a convenient location in the centre of Athens. The facilities are fairly clean and the staff are fairly helpful. There are washing and left luggage facilities. The Omonia area is not as threatening as some people would have you believe and the immediate vicinity of the hostel felt safe.
  : Beyond this, there isn't much else. There is nowhere to socialise and, while there was once a rooftop bar, this is now in a rather derelict condition. It can take some persuasion to make a reservation in person, rather than online.

  : The staff were kind, especially the woman who works at night. Location was also convenient.
  : Im a very easygoing person and I dont demand excellence for a cheap hostel, but theres mold everywhere, smells terrible in the bedrooms, bathrooms and halls ( just generally quite gross), and the bunk beds are on the verge of collapse. The rooms are not well ventilated and its quite loud at night. I am not trying to be rude, I just want people to know what they are getting into, and I wish I had known this before I booked.

  : 24/7 reception, quick check-in, staff were friendly and location wise it was close to all the main attractions.
  : Upon my 2am checkin, I was given a bed sheet, yet there wasn't a blanket available around, so I was hoping the sheet would do, but no.. I slept on the upper bunk where the air con machine was next to my head and it was turned to max speed and the cold air was pointed directly to my face, so I had to manually adjust it away, since there was no working remote available. Anyways, it still felt like sleeping in a freezer.Also, since there were only one portable stairs to share between the two bunk beds, it was impossible to stretch over to get them from across, not unless falling down or having abnormally long arms to succeed. Because of that, each of us sleeping at the top would have to wake each other up to pass the stairs carefully in the air. I addressed the issues, and they said they don't know if they have extra stairs, almost like it is normal for us to keep waking each other up every time at night to re-pass the stairs for a toilet break. After checking, they ended up proving a pair and a working air con remote, + an extra blanket apeared, however, that should have already been sorted to begin with. There was a weird lady strolling through the hallways and making noises, arguing and shouting late at night, almost as she didn't stay in any of the rooms but the hallways.My roommate said that at one point, this lady tried to enter our room before I checked in to look for "her things" and then went over my roommates stuff..Showers need some renewal and proper regular cleaning. Some shower heads were broken, so it was hard to get the pressure to take a normal and quick shower. Glass doors at showers were a bit see-through, and there are no washing liquids available. The bathroom, at times, lacked toilet rolls.
