  : There are a few unequivocally positive points: - The hotel is well-placed for the historical and touristic sites in and around the Acropolis. We were able to walk to wherever we wanted to go. - The rooms are clean and well-presented, and the building has the feeling of being relatively new. - The breakfast area on the rooftop has a tremendous view of the Acropolis and really is a standout feature of this property. - The reception staff were friendly. I really wanted to give the hotel a positive review, but there are quite a lot of negatives. I'm going to run out of space in the second section so I'll start here: - Housekeeping is not reliable at all. On our first day we spent the morning at and early afternoon out, and got back to our room at 14:45 to find our room hadn't been serviced. We heard knocking outside our door and it was the housekeeper knocking on our neighbour's door (we were in room 18, she was knocking on 17). She saw us open our door and asked if we wanted housekeeping - we replied that we had just got back, could she come back in an hour? She indicated that she couldn't. We talked to reception and they apologised - all housekeeping stops at 15:00. Would she have ever made it to our room before then if at 14:45 she was trying to get into our neighbour's room? We were told that if we really wanted housekeeping (yes we do! It's part of the service!) then we need to mention to reception the next morning that we were leaving, so they knew they could send the housekeeper.
  : Continuing the negative issues with the hotel: - Breakfast is poorly organised. It's been a long time since I've stayed at a place where you have to book in your slot for breakfast the night before. If you're staying for a holiday, the regimented/scheduled nature of it all really takes the shine off your morning - you'll need to set an alarm to make sure you make your slot. The evening before, you have to not only advise what time you'll be up and at breakfast, but you even need to know what food you'll be having and put your order in. On our first night we were put on the spot with the question and so booked ourselves in for breakfast at 08:30 the next morning; later the same evening, we changed our mind and asked for it to be brought forward to 08:00: we had a 10:00 Acropolis booking at wanted time for a relaxed breakfast and leisurely walk down there. The lady on reception told us we couldn't change it as we were already booked in. - You'd expect that knowing when people are going to arrive would make it easy for the breakfast service to have food orders ready for guests. Mostly this was true, but on our last morning we were under a bit of time pressure - we had a day trip planned to drive to Evia before heading to the airport. We booked breakfast at 08:00 to give us the maximum time for this. Despite making the booking the night before and turning up on time, we were left waiting a full hour before all our breakfast items were delivered. It turned out that a group that hadn't booked turned up on the roof terrace unexpectedly, and irritatingly the staff spent their efforts servicing that group rather than us. We were really disappointed with this and it made the rest of our day quite rushed. - Don't be fooled by the pool in the photos. It's a tiny thing in the lobby and is much more suited to marketing photography than actual use.

  : Love this gorgeous little hotel! Partner and I have stayed here twice now. Location is great, so easy to walk anywhere and the view of acropolis from the terrace is breathtaking. Delicious breakfasts too :)

  : The staff were very friendly and helpful. The little gifts and personally written note were a lovely touch. A fresh and plentiful breakfast was served on a beautiful roof terrace overlooking the Acropolis. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.
  : The only issue was the road noise at the front of the building but the hotel is aware and provides good earplugs. Athens is a noisy city though.

  : The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, with a beautiful rooftop area with views of the Parthenon. Excellent location, close to shopping, many cafes and restaurants.
  : Other loud guests that woke us up late when they came home outside our room.
