  : Stunk like cigarettes. There was 3 ash trays. 1 in the bathroom and 2 in the main sleeping area.

  : Upon arrival, it became evident that the establishment was poorly managed and lacked basic accommodations that were advertised. Upon checking in, I witnessed another guest dispute over a room left in disarray from ongoing construction. Despite assurances from the front desk associate, Angel, the issues persisted. The motel was suffering from a malfunctioning ac unit, a critical amenity particularly during the hot weather. Despite assurances of prompt repair, the issue persisted for hours. Further exacerbating the situation was the revelation that multiple rooms, not just mine, were without functioning AC units, contradicting earlier claims made by the staff. Attempts to rectify the situation were met with further deception and delay tactics, including promises of manager intervention that never materialized. The room itself was not only devoid of essential cooling but also lacked basic cleanliness standards. The floor was filthy to the extent that we had to mop it ourselves upon arrival, an appalling oversight for any establishment. Attempts to seek a refund or alternative accommodation were met with resistance, with the staff insisting on partial compensation despite failing to deliver on promised amenities. The overall conduct and disregard for guest comfort and honesty were profoundly disappointing. In conclusion, my stay at Motel 6 in Atascadero was marred by incompetence, deceit, and a lack of basic hospitality standards. I would strongly advise against staying at this establishment or any associated with the Motel 6 franchise until substantial improvements are made. My experience here has left me deeply dissatisfied and compelled to caution others against enduring similar situations.

  : shower was nasty the air filter for the ac was clogged solid too many tweekers lining there
