  : The room was great - sheets lovely- good to have fresh milk for tea although I needed to ask for more .bed comfy - room good although phone to reception ran out of power?
  : The staff- when I arrived the receptionist took a while to welcome me . I arrived after an awful car journey alone . I was given a room in 3 rd floor and shocked no lift . I have a bad back ( I am 70) and found it difficult to take my case up to my room I wanted a small meal . Restaurant manager said they were full . Told me to order in bar . The young barman was useless and rude. I waited ages to get served with a drink . I asked about ordering food . He said in an unfriendly way you have to find a table I could only find one that was covered in used glasses and mess - had to ask a member of staff to clear. I went and I ordered food . On reflection the barman did not ask my room number . I waited 45 mins and then went to restaurant to ask about the order . I was told they would not know as orders put through the bar till . I then waited another 15 mins and asked the barman where my food was . He said he had put the order through but the kitchen did not have it and asked me what I had ordered!! He obviously had NOT put any order through . I waited another half an hour for an bland looking piece of chicken and uninteresting broccoli . No room service for breakfast was disappointing. I paid 200 for this room
