  : Charming location just outside Arles. Renovated ancient stone building w modern amenities like free parking and Wifi but with chicken running around and rural feel. Helpful host made great dinner recommendation in town. Nice to have breakfast on the terrace.

  : Our staying was nice and comfortable,the staff helpful and friendly. Arles centre is very close and easy to reach. very quiet surroundings.
  : Th rules of the house are a bit strict but we could easily meet them. We suggest not to plan very long staying as the fact the room is not made daily (of what we were correctly informed in advance) might create discomfort.

  : Really nice little place right outside Arles. Breakfast was excellent and the grounds have a lot of rustic charm. The pool is small but clean and the room was large and nice. The hosts were also very accommodating when I made a mistake with our booking. Great stay!

  : The rooms were very nice and comfortable, the lounge area nice although we did not feel at ease to use it. The breakfast was adequate, good quality but not a vast choice. The grounds were not well cared for and the signage was not clear. We followed the arrow and parked near to the entrance only to be told that we had parked in the garden and to move our car in a very abrupt manner. Workers walked across the" gardens " to get to the horses rather than around it so again we felt uncomfortable .
  : We did not feel welcome at all.. I asked Bastian if we could pay on departure which he agreed was fine. When we came to departure he was not there and the member of staff charged my card again, I had not been informed that he had taken a payment despite him saying it was fine to pay on departure, she struggled to do a refund and we only received an Invoice for 1 night as she was confused. I asked for more coffee for the room and was told it was in a drawer on a landing as if I should have known, I am not one to rummage in drawers searching for things, again there was no signage or instructions. He was abrupt and said to one of our group don't speak Franglais, I speak English.

  : Although off the beaten track - about 5kms outside of Arles - the location of this chambre d'hote, is really lovely. You need to be aware that you need to be pretty self-sufficent if you stay here. Although breakfast is included, there's no evening meal option. There is a small village not too far away - a drive, though - and we saw a couple of boulangeries which were still open when we arrived (6pm-ish) but didn't see any restaurants, so the closest are probably in Arles and this is definitely a drive/taxi. So, stock up on snacks & vino if you don't fancy going out. We did, and it was fine - we sat in the garden until the sun went down and it was very pretty. Our room (Terrace Room) was lovely - very comfy bed, very clean & a lovely bathroom, all with a view over the terrace & garden. Breakfast was simple - very French - but very lovely. Yogurt, fresh bread, croissants, juice, coffee - and ham, cheese & scrambled eggs, if you also wanted.
  : Just to be aware, in case you're not a dog lover. The accommodation comes with a dog - a lovely dog, very placid, but one which is allowed to wander. We had no real problem with it, as it was easy to shoo away, but not 100% sure that a dog would be welcome with everyone, especially as it did wander into the dining area. If you do love dogs and rural settings, this is maybe the place for you.

  : We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have just returned to England to find a very long and detailed message on the answerphone explaining the car parking and the fact that no one would be available to check us in. This is what took us slightly by surprise but of course we did not get the telephone message until we returned home!
  : As above, the car parking was a bit chaotic. The room was lovely but it would have been helpful to have milk supplied as you kindly supplied tea and coffee making facilities. We would also have appreciated some details of where to eat in the evening, although on our last night we enjoyed a very good pizza from the pizza place down the road.
