  : The Breakfast is excellent, and the surroundings are peaceful. The room itself is quite pleasant, very clean so that was a plus
  : By far and away the biggest problem is the noise, not from outside the property, but from inside. The doors are very thin, as well as the walls, we could here every footstep above and around us/doors closing and chairs downstairs and upstars moving/conversations in the hall at all times, and the cleaning staff have very loud conversations from 8am outside your door, which made it impossible to have a little lie in. Also, the property hosted a birthday/wedding party and failed to inform us about it, I'm all for a bit of fun, and the decor was excellent, although we inteded to head to sleep at 11pm and the party went through to 1am, and then the guests went back to their rooms which made even more noise until about 3am, and we were then awoken by staff knocking on our door at 8am (there are no 'Do Not Disturb' signs for your door). I think it would have been okay if we were informed upon check in that there would be festivities. We booked a 'Large double bed' and was given 2 pushed together wooden singles, no Air Con but that's to be expected from an out of the way old-style hotel. Location is a bit of a nightmare for non-car users, you basically need to drive to get to/from the location so keep that in mind. For the price, I would not recommend this, I would suggest booking closer to Menaggio if you want to be on the West side of the Lake as it's far easier to travel to/from the other villages in the area :)

  : Staff amazing, location wow, wifi good, food great, mountains view superb, lot of parking, ADAM SANDLER stayed there, amazing experience
  : No elevator BUT the receptionist carried our bags up, its a big property up in mountain so no elevator makes sense .I loved the curve road up , but if you are a driver that panics easily... its not the road for you

  : Set up into the hillside. A decent walk into town the night we were there mustve been a wedding or something because the restaurant had music going late into the evening.

  : Spacious room, very clean, comfortable bed, excellent food in the restaurant, friendly staff, lovely view over the lake. Youll need the car to arrive there. Easy access to visit Como lake.

  : Excellent friendly staff, the delicious restaurant (try the dishes with fresh porcini), the wine cellar (about 5,000 bottles at the moment!!), the location (easy for the ferry, 5 minutes drive, free parking at the Campo Sportivo in Argegno, as long as you don't mind the very steep walk back), the view, large rooms. We would definitely go back.
  : Bed a bit hard, but that is very subjective. The rooms are large, but lack a little bit of personality, but all the good things about the hotel make up for it.
