  : Obviously not a luxury accomodation, but excellent value for money. Also, (perhaps especially) the restaurant.

  : Everything was fine except 1) the room wasn't ready when we arrived and 2) although I am familiar with Italian showers draining directly on the floor this one was particularly bad because the shower current wasn't big enough to close all the way. So no matter how you showered water got all over the bathroom, not just on the shower floor. Breakfast was excellent.
  : The room should have been ready when we arrived but it wasn't. The hostess wanted my grown son and me to stay in a single queen size bed even though we had reserved two single beds. So we had to wait while they prepared a room with 2 single size beds. Also although I am familiar with Italian showers draining directly on the floor this one was particularyly bad because the shower current wasn't big enough to close all the way. So no matter how you showered water got all over the bathroom, not just on the shower floor.

  : The restaurant serves good food.

  : Location was the main advantage: close to the basilica obviously and to the national museum and other sites. The staff were helpful in moving our luggage on the stairs.
  : We didn't know the restaurant would be closed for dinner both nights of our stay, so we had to find alternatives, which are not very numerous at this time of year.
