  : Nothing went well. Not one thing about this place went well. It is a dirt hole and should be condemned.
  : It was dirty. You could see the dirt in the old carpet and in the bathroom. There were bugs crawling on the floor. Blood stains on the bed cover. The smell was horrible. Paint chipping off the walls. Broken locks. The poor girl trying to vacuum the carpet couldn't get the vacuum to work. I am disappointed in Booking.com for even putting this hotel on its site. I have stayed in many hotels and this one should be condemned. I ended up not staying in this hotel. I lost money because I trusted Booking.com for its recommendation.

  : We arrived around 3 pm to check in per our reservation. There were no clean rooms available. The front desk requested we give them 20 minutes to clean a room. We said no problem, we can come back after we eat and meet our group. We returned at 8 pm, when we got to our room, the door was opened and the room was in disarray. No clean sheets, beer cans on the dresser, and the room smelled. We asked for a refund, left, and found a new place to stay for the weekend.

  : The price, the staff was nice, it was quiet. I stay here a lot, like the location .
  : The bed was lumpy, and the TV remote didnt work well. The power went off and the people there to check it used foul language while trying to figure out why. With guests still in the hotel.

  : The hotel appeared to be in a state of flux - long term guests who are working in the trades or who perhaps don't have other option seemed to be the main clientele for these inexpensive rooms. The Appleton Rodeway Inn should perhaps not be considered a "hotel", rather a budget lodging facility for itinerant workers? Should not be listed as a hotel option for travelers and should be removed from Booking.com in our opinion.
  : Every part of the hotel was in poor condition - filthy public areas, hallway under construction (in the middle of a tile job?), bad smell, ridiculously dirty room with extremely old furnishings, fixtures, bedding etc. There were police in the entry interviewing the receptionist about an incident that had recently occurred and a generally unsafe feel - people cruising around the parking lot, no security in sight, unprofessional desk staff. We are very flexible in our lodging preferences, as we travel frequently for our business, and occasionally stay in a low budget room for a night or two, but this is not an acceptable place to stay. After waiting an hour to be checked in, once we saw the room we chose to leave and book a room elsewhere. We were in town for both Friday and Saturday night but unfortunately, Appleton was completely booked up for Saturday night (huge air show nearby), but even so we could not bring ourselves to stay at this place. We should have asked for a refund, but I was so disappointed in the experience that I didn't bother to call to inquire.

  : Location. Very nice and pleasant desk clerk. Offered a complete, on the spot full refund of the room.
  : Had a reservation and a room was available when we arrived at 12:30am. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The room smelled very strongly of stale cigarette smoke; so badly that it was not possible to stay in it for more than a few minutes. The room was dirty and the hallway was filthy. The clientele lingering in and outside the building were questionable and worrisome. Considering the late time of night, we decided to drive the 90 miles home rather than try to find another place to stay.

  : It was very dirty! I walked in and turned around and walked out! Pictures on the web site were very deceiving! traveled from Michigan to Appleton to watch the Green Bay Packers and was so very disappointed in what I drove up on.. turned my car around and left!
