  : I cant comment on this as they cancelled on us literally late afternoon the day before we were travelling.
  : Sykes cottages obviously relayed incorrect information about the number of us who were staying at the cottage. They told them there were 6 of us whereby the booking was for only 4 even though they advertised a king size sofa bed which could accommodate up to 6 people which the wording has since changed since our dilemma. I literally asked the day before travelling if bedding was supplied for the sofa bed as there were two couples going and one of the room has twin beds, so thought we could perhaps sleep on the sofa bed. I am also disabled so not having to do the stairs would be better if I were in pain. As soon as I asked that question I got a call back from Sykes cottages to say the owner had cancelled. I tried leaving a message and phoning the owners but they never bothered to get back to me. This break was planned 2 months prior for my husbands birthday so it was completely ruined. The 4 of us had to find another place in a completely different part of England which wasnt quite the same but at least the host went out their way to make us feel welcome. I will be taking this matter further!
