Gold Dust F3

Very Good
Traveller Type:
: very little heat in the bedrooms

Poor
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
: The location was good and the beds themselves were comfortable although putting a twin top sheet on a full size bed lost points.
: I booked this through booking.com and then had to manage communication via booking.com and Vacasa. I had to sign a lease through Vacasa and create and account with them. I thought this was poor customer service and a bad tone setter for my experience. This place needs a full renovation. Carpets are probably 20 years old, appliances are 40+ years old, thermostats are a bit of a joke how inaccurate they are, showers have hot water, but the heads and handles are worn our and essentially garbage. Paint, wallpaper, "art", and random fabric that is tacked to the wall is worse than you would find in Motel 6. For the price you pay (and taxes) I would expect a much nicer place. Our experience:The sink/disposal was stopped up on day 1 and the handle fell off the shower in the MBR at the first touch. I was asked to send photos to "expedite the repair" but I was out of the condo so simply explained the problems. I was told that a local person would contact me. That didn't happen. A day later I was told I had to send photos (of a stopped up sink). On the 3rd night of my stay at 5pm I finally spoke to a local person after many repeated messages to the company. The problems were never resolved during my 4 night stay.Additional problems to be aware of:Parking is not assigned and there is no system to check cars. Thus, you might not be able to park at the unit at all. There are no suggestions on where else to park and parking in this area is challenging. There is no wifi. There was a wifi router sitting on the counter but there was no service to it.You are told to use "public dumpsters" to get rid of your trash. The dumpsters nearby were completely overflowing during our stay. I thought this was unprofessional. We stayed over Christmas which likely made repairs more challenging. BUT if you charge people a premium over a holiday, you need make sure you have repair people available.

Disappointing

Pleasant
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
  : location
: twin bed frame was brokeno hot water for 1 1/2 daysno cabinet space to put food that we brought

Poor
Traveller Type:
: Coffee maker had not been cleaned in some time. Old grounds were covered with mold. Mattress in master bedroom was completely worn out. If you laid to close to the edge it gave away and you ended up on the floor. The single beds were even worse. Shower would make a loud noise and the hot water produced a strong smell. One shower in 4 days is not my idea of a vacation. Very limited WiFi or none at all. Property is over priced . Would not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

Very Good

: Condo was very clean, quiet, and it was as stated. No surprises.
: Parking was a crap shoot. Although, due to the layout of the property, no way to remedy this. One of the twin beds frame is broken and not useable. We did not need this bed, but if needed it is not useable. This bed condition was noted in the "Welcome Book" two years ago. Still not fixed? Come on!! The BBQ is inconvenient and not gas. But, understanding the regulations there's no way to get around that. It was almost impossible to watch TV. The signal constantly kept dropping and unable to retrieve Although, we were not staying there to watch TV. All in all it is a very nice place that met all our needs. Thank You, Walt
