: We had an excellent stay. The hotel is set up with great efficiency and comfort - all those little things like plug sockets by the bed for charging phones, good variety of lights, enough space, storage, spot for boots / outdoor apparel - all was thought of. The spa area was lovely, with such an amazing view. We were fortunate to be there for the St Martin feast - and wow, the food was amazing, we were completely surprised. The hotel had by far the best food of any place we tried in the area, highly recommend.
: A tiny detail, sometimes it's nice to be able to make tea / coffee in your room.

: The view from the room was absolutely unbelievable. We walked all the way around the lake, underneath the spectacular mountains. The breakfast and dinner was perfect. It took us 20 minutes to drive to Hallstat village. I would highly recommend driving up the 'Loser' mountain (5 minutes away), the views from the top are superb!
: The swimming pool is slim and therefore if 3 people are doing lengths it is a little crowded. However the spa facilities and view and excellent! The village was limited for the number of open places for restaurants and bars (November). However that said, we did find a very nice little pub for refreshments. At breakfast the only coffee available was from a machine.

: The location was oustanding as it was situated directly on Altausee. Free parking less than 50 meters from the entrance. The view from the pool/sauna room is stunning as it looks directly out at the lake. The breafkast buffet was exquisite and extensive (warm/cold food + champagne). Beds were comfortable and include a tv in the room. The bathroom had floor heating - outsanding in the winter. Accomodating to our dog.
: The interior of the hotel was a little bit dated. The main courses for dinner were on the smaller side, so make sure to stuff up on the (included) appetizers beforehand (very extensive).
