  : Nice dinner in the main hotel lovely staff
  : We were in an annex across the road and our bedroom faced the main road very noisy also we heard the people moving about upstairs. Two single beds with tv on the wall and both of us couldnt see it at once. To be fair it was the only room left in the hotel.

  : We paid for a room in the hotel and instead we got a room in really weird house across the road. It was too small, dirty and smelly. We were woken up before 7 am as somebody was moving the bins really loud in front of the windows. I find it to be false advertisement and money paid for totally different accommodation.

  : Very large characterful room and excellent en-suite shower/bath/toilet. Yummy big towels. Most staff friendly and helpful (but vide infra).
  : The appalling noise from upstairs rooms: floorboards that creaked so much it was palpable: and it started around 0430, and went on for about an hour ON ALL 3 NIGHTS of our stay, to be replaced around 0700 by the commencement of room servicing. (Many residents appear to be workers who start very early.) Dreadful traffic noise, as hotel absolutely on main street, with no double glazing. Room heating inadequate. En-suite window surround scruffy. 1 (young male) member of staff had very poor attitude, eg when asked "where are the peas?" (that should have accompanied my wife's main course), he sucked in his breath and looked pointedly at his watch before walking away. (The proprietor brought the missing peas soon afterwards.) Food emphasis was "quantity not quality". Wine by the glass and malt whisky extortionately priced (over 8)

  : Really Nice staff, they make you feel that you are most welcome, the best Scottish cooked breakfast ever, rooms are verry clean and the food is perfect. And a big parking. Oohh almost forgot the whiskey Dutchie
