  : The grounds/gardens were very well maintained with stunning flowers, lawns, trees with lots of lovely birds. The Courtyard set up was very beautiful but I'm afraid only on the outside.
  : This was a big disappointment for me. I'd booked a junior suite and was shown to dark room right next to the noisy road that runs past the hotel so I asked to be moved. I was given a normal room in the centre of the plot which was much quieter but I'm sorry to say the interior was very tired (although clean). Things like having the curtains partly off the rings (a very simple 2 minute job to fix) and wardrobe doors that don't shut properly demonstrated a lack of care.I was sold on the photos of the amazing bit of garden with a long water feature but this was closed to guests with a sign saying 'Private - no entry'. They should take these photos down on Booking.com if guests can't use the area as it's false advertising. And the pool was open but the sun loungers had no cushions - just bare metal frames. Not very inviting.My biggest issue was the service. There were no staff around. I know it was low season (early October) but there is no excuse for this. I went to ask questions at reception a couple of times but it was locked. Even when I went to check out at 11am it was locked so I just left the key in my room door. Luckily I had paid when I arrived.As a bird watcher I'm out early so I asked specifically what time they open and lock the gates (they do this every day) and the lady in the office said the next day they would be open at 6.40am and locked at 11pm. They weren't open at 7am (I had to find someone in the kitchen to get them opened) and imagine my horror when I returned at 10.20pm and it was all locked up and dark. I was expecting the gates to be open so didn't have a special number with me to call, there is no buzzer and the hotel phone just rang out. I had to find a gap in the fence and have my guide help me break in. Ridiculous!Apparently the hotel is under new ownership. They need to massively up their game.

  : The location, the rooms, the environment, the service. It is. A little paradise!
  : I love this place. I wish they had a bar and/or restaurant, as they did years ago.

  : It has enormous potential but was closed for a number of years and has recently reopened. Workmen were busy on siteOur junior suite was nicely decorated but did not have air conditioning, only a bedroom fan. Los Membrales is a berry farm and we promised fresh berries for breakfast by the owner.
  : Our room was very noisy as it was close to and facing the A483 highway from Huelva to Seville and far from the swimming pool. The reception facility was closed most of the day and I sent a message on booking.com asking to be moved on the day we arrived but this was ignored. The breakfast was disappointing, bread not fresh, no fresh orange juice and a limited choice. There was nobody in attendance and there were no fresh berries. On the day we left we were promised access for an early breakfast (self service) at 6.30am but when we got there everything was locked up and there was no sign of life. No one answered their mobile phones.

  : Excellent location near to Donana reserve.Good heating when needed.. Quiet.
  : No cleaning and washing up items provided.Wifi was weak and not usable.2 weeks after stay, host claimed that I hadn't paid and asked for my bank details. Completely out of order with no apology for the mistake.

  : EVERYTHING! Couldn't fault the accommodation in any way. Beautiful layout and grounds. Villa perfect. Can't wait to go again!
  : Maybe a little more kitchen equipment such as an electric kettle and a carving knife.
