  : 30 minutes from the airport to the apartment (Bus C6, for 7 stops:to Vazquez de Mella station, walk for 5 more minutes. Spacious rooms, local bus station across the street, proximity to postiguet, and city center, easy access to San Juan Beach (tram lines @ 5 minutes walk from the apartment), easy to get in contact with the owners, and to collect /return the keys, very prompt reply to our request for extra duvets. Very satisfied with the services, would definitely go back and recommend it to friends.

  : We were met by Natalia when we arrived, very nice, very helpful. When we left, Natalia secured a taxi because there were some work in front of the building, making it impossible for taxi drivers to collect us. She even stayed with us until the taxi arrived. The flat was spotless clean and well located. We went to different beaches (San Juan / Albuferata / Benidorm), but we preferred the local one called El Postiguet. We have truly appreciated the air con in the living room as well as the kitchen and bathroom. I travelled with a friend, so we used two bedrooms (three if you consider that she couldn't sleep in the morning with the noise from the workers BUT the work was nearly finished when we left, so you won't have this issue. Bedrooms are basic but ok and very convenient if you travel with friends or with your family) If you'd like to take the tram, when you leave the building, turn right, right again at the end of the street, straight on (you should see Mercadona on your right), and walk until you reach Vithas Hospital. The tram is located just behind the hospital, very easy and convenient. Mercadona is one of my favourite supermarkets, so a few minutes walk from the flat, and you can even reheat paella on site and eat there at the back. If you'd like to taste something local, we had a tostada every morning (toasted baguette with fresh tomato sauce + ham + cheese) with cafe con leche (coffee with milk), delicious. Paella con bogavante is to be tasted also, it was a first for us and we loved it. I highly recommend Sant Mateo apartments and will make sure to choose that option when I get back to Alicante: you will not find a better quality price on the site (well, it was the very best option when I selected it in September 2022).
  : Although I knew there were stairs to reach the flat, it was a little difficult, especially if you have heavy luggage with you, but this little issue is of no consequence when compared to the pros.

  : The apartment is on the forth floor, and there's no lift. I didn't mind this because I needed the exercise, but it might be something to consider in other cases.

  : Aircon was barely functioning. 1 of the electric fans stopped functioning on our 2nd day but in fairness to the host they gave us 2 replacements right away. The tv was not functioning.

  : Overall the stay at this accommodation was good. The hosts were very friendly, almost all the equipment was present, plus a good location: there is a store nearby, the sea is a twenty-minute walk away. The apartment was clean.
  : The apartment is located on the fourth floor, but there is no elevator, which is not very convenient. There are no heating devices in the apartment; it is cool in windy weather. The housing requires repairs: the wall requires repairs after some events, some furniture requires replacement. There is no oven in the kitchen. There was also no oil, no salt, no coffee, no tea, etc. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower stall.
