  : We liked the location being on the St. Lawrence River with a view of Boldt Castle! It was very rainy during our 1 night stay, but we made the best of it. We liked that shopping and bars/restaurants were close by. We even spent a day (our anniversary) in Clayton.
  : Obviously the weather!! And unfortunately we were supposed to go on a boat tour out of Clayton, but that was canceled a week ago due to not enough interest and the company needing the boat we were supposed to go on....very disappointing. Also, the hotel itself needs some major updates. The bed post was loose and the fitted sheet had a stain on it, which should've been thrown out and not put on a bed....gross!! It was disappointing that a continental breakfast wasn't offered. And it seemed that we didn't have access to the front of the hotel to get a better view of bolt castle due to quirky restaurant times in the hotel.

  : Convenience in location to surrounding recreational activities. Beautiful views.
  : Waited 40 mins to check in (past expected time to check in at 4pm) due to rooms not being clean and ready on time..Did not like being told my desk staff that I would be credited some of our money back for the delay and not having received it nor a notification. Seemed "I'm sorry" was the only acceptable means despite being told we would be given money back off of our reservation. Had items spoil due to not being able to check in on time and access to our room for perishables.

  : The location was very convenient to main street and right on the water. Huge room.
  : Perhaps I'm spoiled coming from Asia where hotel value and cleanliness are second to none, but this was easily the most expensive hotel room I've ever purchased and pretty darn low on cleanliness and comfort. I hope management uses some of the money I gave them to renovate. Both beds had broken springs. The sheets were not fitted and came out each night. The furniture and decor was perhaps thirty years old. The shower fitting popped off the wall twice and was pretty filthy. The maid came in and replaced the towels, but didn't make the beds. Super excited odd.
