  : It wasnt clear the owner of the property lives on site and would be using the shared guest kitchen and facilities with us. I wouldve liked more privacy from the owners since thats what was expected for the amount paid.

  : The site was basically under construction. There was no parking. Our room did not have a private bathroom. The "organic big bed" was very uncomfortable. The bedding, curtains, and towels may have been "All natural and organic materials", but their appearance was not appealing. Our room did not have "Closet with hangers and shelves". The dogs roaming the premises and the neighbor's roosters crowing all night did not make for a peaceful stay. The "seclusive private beach" was not accessible from the premises and was actually a 10 minute walk away. Quotes are from the website http://www.villamarsana.com/.

  : Very charming guest house. If you don't expect hotel-like accommodations you will be able to truly enjoy the experience of living a slice of life of island life. Great outdoor kitchens, cozy nooks, the sound of nature, cute dogs, cats, and even frogs. Just take it easy, relax, and get back to basics.
  : Just remember to bring your own toiletries.

  : Michael and Oksana were very friendly and attentive. Their place is quite unusual, but fun. Mangoes abound. Can go up onto rooftop to view the ocean (or in our case--birdwatch). Don't let "front door" appearance scare you away. Ongoing construction gives Villa Marsana a bad first impression but don't let it dissuade you. Walk past the on-going work and the property opens to mangrove trees, the open kitchen, and stairs to the rooms and roof.
  : A couple of minor "fixes" would be easy to do. Have some sort of cups or drinking glasses in the room would be nice. The bathroom door needs to close better so one doesn't wake the other person when closing it in the middle of the night. The hosts can't control neighboring noise, but barking dogs and jungle fowl are loud enough one might consider sleeping with ear plugs.
