  : No flat TV (to link to laptop to watch a movie), stairs a bit creaky hence slightly noisy.

Disappointing

  : The location is nice and quiet. The host is friendly and he offers a fridge, dishes and tableware if you want to eat your own food. The backyard is the place where we spent most of our time.
  : The rooms we stayed in were at the top floor and the air there was very stuffy and hot about 5 degrees hotter than the air outside; very poor ventilation, we had to keep the room door open as much as possible while we were in the room. We had to sleep with the window open because of the heat, which would have been fine except there were no insect nets on the windows and there was a noisy crowd of people (the owner and his guests) including screaming children up until midnight on one occasion, and we couldn't sleep because of the noise. When we got there the rooms were smelling funky. It went away after we aired the room out for a while. The rooms are a bit crowded and the mattresses not the most comfortable. It gets very hot and humid in the rooms and we cooled our room by leaving the door opened. We were there beginning of June and it was quite difficult in this aspect already. I can't imagine sleeping in this room in July or August. No air conditioning and no proper insulation for the roof make it into an oven. The shower cabin leaked a lot. There was a lot of dust in the room. The "garden" at the back of the property is unkempt (except for the grass which is cut) and the furniture dirty and run-down, we were weary of sitting on most of it, and the benches and table in the gazebo we had to clean ourselves before using. The grill was so dirty we avoided using it, even though we initially planned to.

  : The Rasinari village is quite close to Sibiu center (15-20 min by car), while maintaining the old rural charisma. The guest house has a large yard, very green, ideal as a playground for small kids. The entire village is very quiet during the nights. There is space for car parking inside the perimeter for 3 to 6 cars (more than 4 will require some tetris strategy).
  : The owners are not present at the location (as hosts for the guests), at least not during our holiday, and the remote management has some limitations in terms of hospitality. As almost always in Romania, the mattresses and the pillows are chosen based on cost, not on quality, so you end up with soft mattresses and big and synthetic pillows. The person doing the cooking was below par, with little native talent or training (comparing strictly with other guest houses, not comparing with Michelin chefs). The showers from the rooms located at second level had very limited water pressure.

  : Good location, next to Sibiu, but in a very quiet rural area, close to Zoo Sibiu, close to Paltinis, even close enough to make a one-day trip to Blea Cascada and Blea Lac.Very nicely decorated and very clean dining room, with a lot of plants and flowers. Big courtyard with a lot of plants and also parking lots.The host, Adi, was very welcoming and paid attention to our needs. He can also prepare some great meals if you tell him what would you like to eat (you should definitely ask him for mutton pastrami from local producers in Rinari... you won't regret it).Very good breakfast, prepared by Adi according to different requests of visitors.I definitely recommend the location, even if there are some things to be fixed.
  : In room no.1 the ceiling light trembles and makes loud metallic noises when the persons in the room above are walking in their room. Something needs to be fixed in there, because you get the feeling of a ceiling that cannot withstand an earthquake or a greater weight.The bathroom ceiling fan ventilation does not work in room no.1, so the steam and smell remained in the bathroom for a long time. It needs to be fixed.The bathroom on the upper floor probably has leaks, because the ceiling of the bathroom of room no. 1 is affected and stained by water seeping in from above.There was no fridge to have access to, neither iin the room, nor in the common areas (hallway or dining room).
