  : I didnt!!!Over priced, not what I was led to believe, Booking.com made it read under the BED PREFERENCE that we would either have a large double or an extra-large double, we had a normal sized double. The room was dirty with moth balls lying around everywhere, the en-suite (so called) was horrible, dark, dingy, the toilet was dirty and smelly. I have had to wash all my clothes when I got home as they had absorbed the horrible musty smell of the room, I am normally quite tolerant but this was a bad experience and over priced. I will not be back nor recommend it to anyone.
  : The breakfast was very limited indeed and the food was of poor standard. it was very over priced at 13 euros. I would never recommend anyone to stay there. The staff were none existent except on arrival and departure, a very poor experience overall and too expensive by a long way. We had come from another chateau which had an amazing room, wonderful hosts and great food, this was a huge let down and I came away very upset and would demand a refund if possible. It was dirty, dingy, smelly with moth balls lying around. The en-suite was horrible, dark, dingy with cobwebs everywhere, light fittings were dirty. There were extension wires running across the floors and hidden under rugs. There was an air vent that must have gone through to other living quarters and we got woken up by voices and hoovers. All a very horrible experience.

  : The breakfast was nice. Many of the staff members were great, the proprietor/manager was indifferent. The location was lovely and the gardens were serene.
  : The rooms we booked looked like they had not been slept in for weeks, they were extremely dusty, there was animal poop (maybe mice, birds, or bats) on the floor. There was no soap or shampoo in one room and nothing seemed forthcoming. There were holes in the walls in a few locations, by the toilet in room 12 and in the ceiling in that room in several places. There were so many cobwebs covering everything from furniture to light fixtures, to lamps and cords. It would have been kind of rustic and charming, except for the poop and the fact that a bat was flying around our room at night. When we asked if they possibly had another room, they simply said no, fully booked, open a window. We didn't press, but it was really hard to sleep at night. It was not a super expensive room, so I don't want to be too harsh, but when my 12 year old fell backwards down a set of stairs in room 9 because the rope banister broke free, I was quite frustrated. He wasn't seriously hurt, so we just thought, let's move on and not make a fuss (we did mention it to management so that they could fix it for the next guest).

  : Yes it was nice to stay at such an older place. And free parking. No air conditioning was needed even in the summer. The staff was friendly when I found them.
  : Most of the rooms are not even part of the castle. No WIFI.Breakfast was not worth it. No eggs and cold coffee.Room was very clean.Staff does not speak one word of English.Staff lives at the hotel but no one was around for 30 minutes when I had scheduled my time of arrival. I would stay elsewhere or only visit for one night.

  : Dirty. Room filled with dust and cobwebs and animal droppings. Appeared to have not been used for some time. Like staying in an old attic. Bat was flying in and out of our room. Staff did not offer to do anything about it except to open the windows. Very hot at top of building. Breakfast was okay but expensive for a croissant, luke warm coffee, fruit and yogurt. Took literally 35 minutes to check in. Have no idea why. Took this much time to pull pre-paid info off of booking.com and to give us the room keys. Bizarre.

  : The view from my room was extremely beautiful - especially in Autumn. The valley is very quiet. The 20 minute walk into town along the river was beautiful.
